Zimbabwe Woos Japan: Open for Business and Tourism

In Osaka, Japan, President Mnangagwa proudly declared Zimbabwe a “beautiful, beautiful and a safe country,” inviting Japanese investors and tourists. He emphasized Zimbabwe’s natural resources, from Victoria Falls to vibrant cultures, promising an unforgettable experience.


Tourism Minister Barbara Rwodzi showcased the sector’s immense potential and investment opportunities, drawing significant interest. A key highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry and the Japan Tourism Agency, a major step towards stronger tourism cooperation. Zimbabwe is clearly extending a warm welcome to the global stage.
