A coordinated crackdown on cross-border smuggling led to the dramatic arrest of two Zimbabwean nationals in Limpopo this weekend. The suspects, aged 27 and 42, were intercepted by a joint task force comprising the South African Police Service (SAPS) and private security firms following a high-speed attempt to evade capture. The operation unfolded on the arterial route between Tzaneen and Letsitele, a known corridor for the transport of contraband.
