Harare, 11 November 2025 – Zimbabwe’s national examinations have descended into a full-blown crisis, prompting Labour Economists and Afrikan Democrats (LEAD) to issue a scathing press statement today condemning the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) for “gross incompetence” and a “national betrayal” of the country’s youth.
