Destiny for Afrika Network (DANET) President, Dr. Reverend Obediah Musindo, has reaffirmed his commitment to empowering local citizens through affordable housing, launching a significant scheme in Mutare over the weekend.
The initiative, tailored for church leaders and all Christians, is a massive step towards ensuring that homeownership is within reach for thousands across the country.
At the Mutare launch, Dr. Musindo announced a substantial allocation of land, setting aside 50,000 residential stands specifically for church leaders and an additional 10,000 stands earmarked for the construction of new churches by 2030.
This program places a premium on the spiritual community, with church leaders being given first preference, alongside attractive discounts and a generous five-year Special Personal Payment Plan offered by DANET to ease the financial burden.
Beyond immediate homeownership, the scheme is meticulously designed to provide retirement security for pastors. Many religious leaders, upon retirement, must vacate church-provided housing.
This project offers a solution, securing their future and providing an asset to leave for their future generations, with the added option to acquire plots through the housing project.
Dr. Musindo passionately urged church leaders to use their influence to encourage their congregants to seize this life-changing opportunity.
The inclusive nature of the project means that all Christians can become beneficiaries, enabling them to own residential stands and begin building their houses.
This drive aligns with the broader national goal of achieving widespread homeownership and stability, underscoring Dr. Musindo’s long-standing vision to see every local citizen empowered with an affordable, secure place to call home.
