St Vincent Secondary School in Goromonzi cheers Dadiso Brands for championing donations of reusable sanitary wear

As calls to mainstream the mensural health hygiene continues to gather momentum in Africa, Dadiso Brands has walked the talk in raising both awareness and amplifying donations of reusable sanitary pads at St Vincent Secondary School in Goromonzi.

The event took place on Friday last week with the donation of reusable ceremony witnessed by journalists from print and electronic media.

Speaking during the occasion Dadiso Brands Board Chairperson Takaindisa Svosve who spearheaded the manufacturing of the reusable pads said the organization is pleased to be part of the campaign and donations after realizing the importance of adolescents mensural health needs.

Speaking on the same occasion Dadiso Brand Chief Executive urged all young girls to be always confident and to refrain from loosing focus due to mensural health issues.

“We believe that no girl should miss school, lose confidence or compromise her health because of her period,” he said.

“Your dreams are bigger than one week in a month. Do not let anything stop you,” she said.

Receiving the donation, St Vincent Secondary School headmistress Mrs Ethel Maya thanked Dadiso Brands for the intervention.

“We have some girls who stay away from school during their menstrual periods. This gesture will help address that challenge and enable them to attend classes without interruption,” she said.
