The 116th Edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show is set to take place from Monday, August 24, to Saturday, August 29, 2026. This year’s event runs under the theme, “Powering Growth: Where Agriculture, Technology, and Commerce Converge.”
During a press conference held today at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) offices, ZAS Chief Executive Officer Mr. Rufaro Alfred Gunundu announced that preparations for the premier agricultural exhibition are at an advanced stage, backed by an overwhelming turnout of prospective exhibitors.
”ZAS 116 is shaping up to be one of the most expansive editions yet. Our target is 630 exhibitors across 89,000 square meters of exhibition space. To date, we have confirmed 350 exhibitors, comprising both local and international companies who have booked 66,000 square meters of space,” Mr. Gunundu stated.
According to the ZAS CEO, this strong participation from both domestic and international entities highlights a growing confidence among stakeholders in the premier exhibition.
”The strong uptake reflects growing confidence in the Show as the definitive marketplace where agriculture, technology, and commerce converge to power growth, create jobs, and unlock investment,” he added.
To date, ZAS 116 has received significant entries across multiple provincial categories, including beef, dairy, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, poultry, fish, cotton, and tobacco.
A diverse lineup of key business interactions and side events is also scheduled, featuring the Livestock Conference, ZAS Charity Golf Tournament, Green Indaba, ZNCC Annual National AgriBusiness Conference, ZAS/Ministry of ICT collaboration, Exhibitors Cocktail, ESG sessions, Research for Agriculture, and the Excellence Technology Indaba.
