Zimbabwe Shines as Premier Destination at Reflect 25 Religious Conference in Germany
Zimbabwe, recently named by Forbes Magazine as the Number One Destination to Visit in 2025, seized a unique opportunity to profile its rich tourism offerings at the biennial Reflect 25 Religious Conference in Nuremberg, Germany.
As the only African country invited, the event provided a valuable platform to engage nearly 500 delegates from Germany and Central Europe.Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Germany, Her Excellency Alice Mashingaidze, accompanied by the Tourism Office in Berlin, led the nation’s delegation.
In her compelling address, the Ambassador highlighted Zimbabwe’s distinguishing features: its renowned warm hospitality, strong Christian values, and an abundance of iconic attractions.
She passionately showcased the majestic Victoria Falls and the ancient stone city of Great Zimbabwe, alongside the country’s rich Cultural Heritage and abundant Wildlife. The Ambassador’s encouraging call for delegates to visit the country was powerfully reinforced by the prestigious Forbes recognition.
Further promoting the nation’s diverse appeal, a dedicated Tourism information desk was set up. The exhibition provided detailed travel insights, showcasing a range of tour options and highlighting key faith-based attractions.
These included the revered shrines of Bernard Mizeki and Mutemwa, the ZCC Defe site in Gokwe, and historic Catholic and Anglican cathedrals.
This engagement significantly enhanced awareness of Zimbabwe as a diverse and attractive destination, enabling direct interaction with faith-based and culturally curious travellers and strengthening the understanding of the country’s unique blend of tourism offerings.
Zimbabwe is ready to welcome the world!#Reflect25 #ExperienceZimbabwe #ZimBho
